TERMS OF SERVICE

THIS FOLLOWING USER AGREEMENT DESCRIBES THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ON WHICH THEODORES TRAVEL-TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY OFFERS YOU ACCESS TO THE athensairporttransferstaxis.com.

Welcome to the user agreement (the “agreement” or “User agreement” or “Terms of Service”) for athensairporttransferstaxis.com (the athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform”), a web service owned and operated by THEODORES TRAVEL-TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY , a Greek corporation, whose principal office is located at 31 Solonos str-Nea ionia Ahens 14231 post.

This agreement is a legally binding agreement made between you (“You,” “Your,” or “Yourself”) and THEODORES TRAVEL-TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY (“THEODORES TRAVEL-TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY ,” “We,” “Us” or “Our”).

THEODORES TRAVEL-TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY is willing to license, not sell, the athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform to you only upon the condition that you accept all the terms contained in this agreement. By signing up or by using the athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform, you indicate that you understand this agreement and accept all of its terms. If You do not accept all the terms of this agreement, then THEODORES TRAVEL-TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY is unwilling to license the athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform to you.

The athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform provides a means to enable people who seek transportation to certain destinations (“Riders”) to be matched with people driving to or through those destinations (“Drivers”). For purposes of this agreement these services shall collectively be defined as the “Services”. This agreement describes the terms and conditions that will govern your use of and participation in the athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform.

Please read this agreement carefully before using the services. You must read, agree with and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement, which includes those terms and conditions expressly set out below and those incorporated by reference, before you use any of the services. By using any of the services, you become a participant in athensairporttransferstaxis.com and a user of services available on the athensairporttransferstaxis.com platform (“Participant” or “User”) and you agree to be bound by terms and conditions of this agreement with respect to such services.

Reservation:

The person that makes a reservation should be over 18 years old and be fully legally qualified according to the Civil Code.

a. Upon completion of the booking, you will receive automatically an e-mail with all the information you have provided. Once the booking has been processed, we will send you a confirmation email within 24 hours. A booking is valid only if you have received the confirmation e-mail. The customer has the responsible to inform us if he has not received confirmation e-mail, as well as if the booking details are incorrect. There is no refund to the customer if the booking details are incorrect (e.g., flight number, arrival time, date).

b. The necessary information for a booking to be considered complete are the following details : Name and Surname of the customer , Flight Number , Arrival Time , Telephone Customer , Destination (Hotel -Apartment ) and a contact phone number destination . Confirmation of the booking will be the customer’s “ticket” which will be printed and presented to the driver before commencing boarding the taxi. The customer is obliged to check that all reservation information is correct and correspond to all the supplied booking details. Any error should be reported in the form of e- mail before the transportation of the customer.

c. The company bears no responsibility after a booking. Cancellation or change of the booking details should always be done in writing by e-mail. 

After the established procedures and once the details have been completed, the reservation can’t be considered active if the payment has not been completed.

Once all the required information as requested by the company has been completed, followed by the payment, the company will proceed with the appropriate actions to handle the transfer.

The transfer is in effect only when the passenger or person that acts behalf of the passenger(s) receives the confirmation booking (voucher) via e-mail.

As a reservation date, is the date that the customer electronically received the confirmation of the reservation by the company via e-mail.

It is likely that within a short period of time, notices or remarks concerning details of the detention will be sent via e-mail, which the customer must be reply within a reasonable time.

In any case where the passenger (s) are not in a position to contact the company or face any other delay in their appointment with the drivers, they are required (the passengers) to contact with the company. If the passengers do not notify the company, then the company can’t be held responsible for the non-transfer.

Cancellation:

The passenger (s) should send an e-mail at athensairporttransfertaxi@gmail.com or telephone in order to arrange cancellation and get a refund if they are entitled. The amount of money will be credited to the bank account of the credit card used to pay for the reservation.

Cancellation fees:

A) Cancellation 60 to 30 days before the date of transfer the charge is the 10% of the total transfer fee.

B) Cancellation 30 to 15 days before the date of transfer the charge is the 20% of the total transfer fee.

C) Cancellation 5 to 7 days before the date of transfer the charge is the 50% of the total transfer fee.

D) Cancellation 7 days to 48 hours before the date of transfer the charge is the 80% of the total transfer fee.

E) Cancellation 48 to 0 hours no refund.

Standby time:

a) All flights and ships are monitored for any delays to ensure the driver he will wait for you when you arrive. The prices for all destinations include all charge, including the waiting time after arrival.

b) As regarding airport and port, there is a maximum waiting time of 45 minutes, after the arrival of the airplane or the ship. If for any reason there is a delay more from 45 minutes, you must inform the driver to wait and in this case the passenger will be charged, 10 euro per half hour. If the passenger does not appear after 45 minutes, without information, the driver has the right to leave and to cancel the transfer, in this case the amount you have paid will not be refunded.

c) As regarding hotel and apartment, there is a maximum waiting time of 20 minutes from the planned pick up. . If for any reason there is a delay more from 20 minutes, you must inform the driver to wait and in this case the passenger will be charged, 10 euro per half hour. If the passenger does not appear after 20 minutes, without information, the driver has the right to leave and to cancel the transfer, in this case the amount you have paid will not be refunded.

d) If the driver does not appear on the scheduled pickup, the total amount of the transfer will be refunded.

e) The driver will find you with your name. Please be careful, if you boarding at wrong taxi, there is no refund.

Important additional points:

a) Prices quoted are per vehicle not per person. Each vehicle carries a maximum of 4 passengers and 4 suitcases 25 kg each. In the event that an extra vehicle is needed in the instance of excessive or oversized luggage, additional passengers, etc additional charge for an extra vehicle will apply.

b) It is strictly forbidden to carry or use alcohol, drugs, illegal substances etc thus smoking is not allowed too. The driver has the right to refuse transfer if it comes to his attention that the client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or their behavior is going to cause problems and will be a threat to the safety of the driver or other passengers.

c) It is not allowed the transfer with pets.

d) In order for athensairporttransferstaxis.com to provide services correctly, consumers must know the exact amount of luggage or other baggage with specific dimensions, such as large baby pram or special equipment – hobby or Wheelchair which must be mentioned during your reservation.

Compensation:

Athensairporttransferstaxis.com cannot be held responsible for any claims exceeding the amount paid by the customer. In the unlikely event that the service is not delivered, the customer might only be entitled to compensation up to the amount that has already been paid.

Accident/injury:

a) Athensairporttransferstaxis.com is not liable during the transfer in the case of an accident caused physical and mental damage, or loss and damage of luggage, the liability lies exclusively with the participating vehicles.

b) In case of using the child seat the client has full responsibility of checking that it is securely placed and safe for the child.

However the company accepts no responsibility in case of problems or situations which are beyond the company’s control, such as:

  • Delay of traffic e.g a road accident etc.

  • Prohibition of traffic.

  • Extreme weather conditions.

  • Vandalism or terrorist attacks.

Payment:

We accept all the widely used method of payment as bellow:

VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MASTERCARD, MAESTRO, DINERS CLUB

We also accept money through a bank transfer to our account. In the case of bank transfer we cannot make any arrangements unless the money transfer has appeared in the bank account of athensairporttransferstaxis.com that provide to you upon the request.
